valentine’s day – travel bucket list

Happy (almost) Valentine’s Day! Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day, Galentines Day, or are you in the bunch that doesn’t care for this holiday? I’m usually in the school of thought that I don’t care about celebrating however I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a reminder to spread a little love to the important people in your life. Phil and I will most likely watch Netflix movies on our couch all night but for us, the day serves as a good reminder to simply put our phones away while we do that, to talk a little more, and be present.

In honor of Valentines being this week, I wanted to post some of the most romantic dream destinations on my bucket list!

Cinque De Terre, Italy

This destination has been on my travel bucket list for years and is on our list to visit in 2020. With the rows of colorful houses, vineyards, garden terraces sitting on the water, everything about this destination screams beauty and romance.

Santorini, Greece

This whitewashed island that sits above the blue hues of the sea is what dreams are made of. Greece has quite literally been my dream destination since high school and I am determined to make this a pit stop on an upcoming trip!

Anchorage, Alaska

A contrast from the warmer weather destinations I’m dreaming of however with stunning views and the quaint towns peppered with wildlife and nature, this is the type of trip you would cuddle up in front of a fire with hot cocoa after a refreshing day of exploring.

Have you ever been to any of these destinations before? Are there any great destinations that I missed? Leave me a comment below!
