golden hour

One of the biggest advantages of moving to Tampa, FL has been the weather and it’s one of the biggest reasons why we moved! We still follow some of the local news stations on social media and one meteorologist in Rochester said that there had only been 3 days of partly-sunny weather in Rochester within the past 30 days. That’s 27 days with no sun!! Tampa is the total opposite of that having the sun shine every single day. There’s only a handful of gray days I can think of since moving here in early November. Sometimes I wish we could teleport to Phil’s parents living room with the fireplace going and seeing the snow fall outside and then zap back to Tampa for the rest of the week ha!

Dunedin is only a 15-20 minute drive from where we live so we recently we decided to head to the ocean to catch the sunset. Dunedin has actually been a pleasant surprise as they have a great little beach that is typically quiet, has really soft sand and clear water. After we caught the magnificent sunset we walked around the town of Dunedin which is filled with quaint shops. We grabbed homemade popcorn from Harley’s Gourmet Popcorn Shop and snacked on it during our ride home.
